At Armstrong Integrative Movement, good nutrition is a vitally important component of a Client’s training experience. The body is a sum of interdependent “systems” working synergistically and symbiotically; therefore, eating habits will be examined and Clients are given sound advice based on a short questionnaire. Clients learn, through ongoing support and education, this interrelationship of mental cognition, digestion, physical movement, sleep, stress levels, and emotional well being. Through this in-depth process they also learn that each person’s nutritional needs are not only unique, but that these needs change over time. They experience how their sound and highly personalized nutrition program is foundational to optimal health.

The questionnaire and all nutritional information and advice are based on, and credited to, the internationally-renowned Corrective High-performance Exercise Kinesiologist Paul Chek of the CHEK Institute, in San Diego, CA.

Highly recommended reading for all Clients is Paul Chek’s book, How to Eat, Move, and be Healthy.

Clients desiring or requiring more in-depth nutritional counseling will be referred out to a trusted professional(s).
